Pat, Groomer
Pat is a resident of Mahwah and has been a Dog Groomer for the past 32 years.
She worked for the Pride and Groom in Allendale for 9 years and then managed
it for 6 years. In 1996 she acquired the business and changed the name to
The Dog Boutique. After 9 years she sold the business and now has joined
the Coddled Creatures staff. We are fortunate to have her!
Pat has loved and cared for animals her entire life and knows that she has
been put here for that purpose! Pat was raised in a small town in Northern
Vermont and has love animals her whole life. When she got married she got
her first cat named Boots and a cockatiel named Joe that at breakfast with
her every morning. Next came Freckles, a spaniel mix, that was left in a
shopping cart at the A & P. She was a wonderful dog. Then came the Afghan
hounds. It started with 1 and and it quickly grew to 5 then 6. She showed
3 of her Afghans, Friday, Amber and Khalif, for 10 years. She also bred
and did obedience with one of them and earned a C.D. title. on the other.
She also bred English Cocker Spaniels. Pat now has two Siamese cats, Blue
and Frosty. They are the love of her life.
Pat says "I am very happy to join Coddled Creatures. I look forward
to grooming and caring for all of your special animals in the future."
