As first-timers to petsitting, we were so anxious about Lady on the first night of our vacation. So the next morning we phoned Laurie to check in... she reassured us that everything was great, and that was all we needed to hear.

From that moment on we began to totally relax and enjoy ourselves. In fact, we never even called back in all week (imagine!) -- an indication of just how comfortable Laurie made us feel. Lady was in remarkably capable hands!

In a world where it's possible to call up, drive thru or log on to get just about anything you want, it's often tough to find peace of mind. But not for us because we've found Coddled Creatures!

Just wanted to be sure to thank you for making this past weekend possible for us (and we gave you such short notice.).  We were able to have a quick mini-reunion with family members visiting from abroad.  They mean a great deal to us, but we wouldn't have been able to get to see them again without the help of Coddled Creatures. Hi Heidi,

We feel secure knowing that a member of your staff is taking care of our precious friends as well as our home. Somebody had a little (oral) mishap on the cover I left on the bed and your staff was kind enough to wash it so it could be back on the bed nice and fresh for them. That was really nice! They seem to enjoy the dogs and just as important, they were not stressed by the time we got home, which was a giant relief to me!

I meant to write to Tim to let him know how grateful I am for such good care! I've been utterly exhausted from my first week on the job (can you believe I was on a plane my second day of work?). But I certainly appreciated the sweet note he left about the animals; I have a feeling I missed them more than they missed me while I was away, so Tim must've been very attentive toward them. I have more trips coming up over the next 4 months, so I will be reserving him again!

Everyone was fine, and not stressed when I came home. (Sometimes if we're gone for the day, I will get the 'cold shoulder' from Chloe, and since I got a loving greeting instead, it put any fears to rest!).

I'm thankful and extremely pleased with your whole company! I feel very fortunate to 'have you'.

So, Sugar will be turning 5 next month? The 'twins' Will and Grace, will be 2 on Oct. 12... >sigh< they grow up so fast.......

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how appreciative I am of the great job that Tom did when we were on vacation. Most importantly he took care of Maestro, but also noticed things like a spilled window box(he put it back together and cleaned up the mess) and he watered my outdoor flowers. I hadn't asked for that but he was observant and noticed they were dry. I really was impressed by the 'extra' care and attention he gave. He left a note too which was nice to see.

We just got in and it's late but I wanted to tell you how much we appreciated your caring for the kids and our HOME the past two weeks. It is so comforting to know you're there for us. As I said in my first phone call I thought the problem with the garage door possibly might be electrical - we once had a garage door go up and down for about 20 minutes in Houston Tx during a thunderstorm - but I wasn't aware of storm probs here while we were gone - however - it seems that the minute one leaves the gremlins go to work.

Kitties look wonderful ( I asked them if they were disappointed it wasn't you when we arrived) - house and plants as well.

If I had known it was to be you I would have left a bottle of some great wine we just added to the cellar - It is Edgewood Vineyard in Calif - we like both the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cab - so add please $20.00 to our bill and enjoy a bottle of some really nice wine.

Be talking to ya as soon as we get the next trip organized.

We would like to thank you for taking such good care of Daphne while we
were away. As you know, we adopted Daphne last September (2004) from the
Animal Shelter in Oakland and this was our first time leaving her alone.
She was obviously in very good hands, as we came home to a very happy cat.

Thank you Heidi for taking such good care of Dahpne and giving her the
loving she requires and is use to everyday. The house was immaculate and it
was nice to have our mail here waiting for us.

Dear Heidi,

We just want to let you know how happy we were with Ingrid’s care of our pets while we were away.

Ingrid provided loving care to our pets (11 cats and 2 dogs) while we were on vacation. At first we were a little nervous leaving so many pets with someone we didn’t know, but they all loved her. Ingrid was very reliable, and provided excellent service. She even went out on her own and gave them toys for Christmas, which they still love.

When we returned home, there was a note letting us know how things went while we were away. We highly recommend Ingrid. Please feel free to use us as a reference if needed, as we were extremely pleased with Ingrid and Coddled Creatures.

Dear Heidi,

June has made many visits to our home in Ho-Ho-Kus to care for our cats, Peanut Butter and Jelly, and our Jack Russell Terrier, Twinkie. June has been unfailingly reliable and competent. She makes sure all of the details are covered and goes out of her way to do extra things, like water the plants, or put perishable mail items in the garage. My pets, of course, love her, and we often come home to find a new toy added to their collection. June leaves us detailed notes on how everyone did while we were gone. We are able to enjoy our time away knowing that our pets are secure and well cared for in the comfort of their own home.

Hi Heidi,

I just wanted to say thank you for caring for Snoop this weekend. We came home to a neat house and a very happy dog. Our mail was sorted by day in perfect stacks and there was a long note about Laurie and Snoop’s escapades during the weekend. It is so difficult for us to leave Snoop at anytime, but when you leave knowing he’ll be cared for with love – it does make it a bit easier. Laurie did a great job!!
